The dish is 30 inches wide and 28 inches high and can be easily mounted on the ground, outside wall, or roof. The technician will run a cable from the dish, through a small exterior hole and connect it to your modem. This process usually takes about 2-3 hours.

If you opted to purchase your ViaSat equipment, including your WiFi modem, power supply, and dish, you have a two year warranty. Any repairs made under the warranty are free of charge.

It depends on the game you are trying to play. Multiplayer and realtime games do not work well with ViaSat because of latency. Most single player or turn-based games will connect.

Yes. ViaSat does have early termination fees (ETF) if you end your service before the 24-month contract is up. You will be charged $15 for every month that is still under contract. For example, if you cancel your service 13 months into the contract you will be charged for the remaining 11 months: 11 months remaining x $15/month = $165 in ETFs.

No. ViaSat does deliver services to any RV, Boat, or other mobile vehicle of any kind.

Latency refers to the time that it takes a page request to travel from your computer, to the server, and back. ViaSat satellites are approximately 22,000 miles into space which might cause a pause in your connection. ViaSat’s new service reduces the amount of latency you experience through improved acceleration technology, which increases your speeds.

All ViaSat Liberty plans include the Liberty Pass. If you hit your monthly data allowance, you can use the Liberty Pass to continue browsing at reduced speeds of between 1 and 5 Mbps.

ViaSat gives customers access to an online dashboard where they are able to view their current monthly data usage.

No. ViaSat Voice requires your ViaSat internet connection in order to make and send phone calls.
